| We always love going to new small towns and competing. Especially when the fire department is involved! The locals were great, and the Fire Company and organizers did a great job with the entire event. Turn-ins were down the street and up the stairs, so that was tough, but everybody had a long walk so it all evened out. Cooked up some good food again, but the morning was not without problems. Briskets and butts were behind, ribs were ahead, so the process was far from smooth. The entries ended up good though, and we were ecstatic with our 3rd overall. A hearty congrats to the Pennsylvania power-house "PA Midnite Smokers" on their Grand and 3 Eyz on Reserve!! |
