| Once again we found ourselves on the streets of DC on a hot summer day. There is really no way to compare this competition to any others, and you never quite know what to expect. A whole bunch of good teams came to town, and the lineup was loaded with heavy hitters. Last year's KCBS team of the year, this year's points leader, a couple of Jack Daniels champs. Once again, Dizzy Pig found themselves in the hunt! A chicken OR brisket call was all that stood between us and grand! Overall a fantastic cook, good teamwork and a very nice cupla calls that proved our ribs may be back on track! Congrats to Quau (grand), Cool Smoke (reserve), and Team Bobby-Q (another Egg® team) on third overall. |
