Combining being in the mountains....out in the country...with cooking a barbecue contest is the perfect match. A relatively new contest, this one gets better every year. We almost had this one. Our chicken judges were not kind, and for the third or fourth time this year we were one category from winning. Big congrats goes to Hambones by the Fire. Their first grand!

We're not in Kansas any more! New team mate for the weekend, Greg cooked up some mean breakfast in his VW camper "Moby Dick".

We were lucky enough to have Tony with Dizzy Pig this weekend. We are always, always a better team when he's around. Tony doing one of his favorite things. "Working the crowd" as he says.
